Microsoft Excel Tips and Tricks

Excel sorts by numbers, dates, text, and color. Excel will also sort by Custom List. For example, maybe you need to sort July to June or October to September for fiscal years. You can also make a custom sort list for job titles. Possibly all Directors need to show up before Managers. Managers show up before Admin. You have to create a custom sort list before using it. The great news is a custom sort list stays on your computer. It is per file or worksheet.
